Waimea Weekly was founded in October 2005 by local couple Steve Page and Jenny Bates. It has steadily grown to become the region’s favourite newspaper.

Delivering local news, sport and feature articles to over 40,000 people in the Tasman District. The Waimea Weekly is a true community tabloid newspaper published every Tuesday and distributed free to every letterbox in Richmond, Hope, Brightwater, Wakefield, Belgrove, Tapawera, Mahana, Murchison, St Arnaud and even the Rainbow Ski resort.
