Henley School
Henley School is a large co–educational contributing primary school with a roll range of 550 to 657. We have 24 classrooms and a modern school hall.
Henley School is currently a ‘zoned school’. In order to prevent overcrowding and to allow local children to attend their local school a ‘home zone’ exists. Full details of the zone are available from our Office and also through the following website www.schoolzones.co.nz
Our grounds are spacious with shade areas created by trees and a number of hard courts, as well as open grass areas. We have three modern playgrounds which are popular with the community during the weekends and holidays.
Our Learning Centre was opened by the Prime Minister in 2004. This building includes a spacious Library, Computer Suite, Audio Visual Room and central Resource Room. The Administration Block has also been upgraded and was opened in February 2005.

Hope School
Hope School, located on the outskirts of Richmond, south of Nelson, is a small rural school set in pleasant, spacious surroundings. The grounds and buildings are attractively presented and well maintained. The bell tower, and signed pavers, added at the time of the school’s 150th anniversary, give a personal touch to the outside play area. Students appreciate the friendly, family atmosphere that prevails.
