Santa Parade - Sunday 8 December 2013
Richmond PAK ‘N’ SAVE Santa Parade 2013
On Sunday 18 November 2012, the main street of Richmond was lined with thousands of people of all ages celebrating the start of the Christmas season with the annual Pak n’ Save Richmond Santa Parade. The theme this year was "Celebrating our Region at Christmas" - it's about everything we love, enjoy and cherish about the beautiful, unique area that we call home.
40 floats paraded down Queen Street entertaining the thousands of spectators, with the big guy himself pulling into Sundial Square and chatting with the children about their wishes for Christmas Day. Prizes were awarded for the best four floats.
A huge thank you and congratulations goes out to all those community groups, businesses, sporting groups, schools and pre schools who entered and participated in this years event. The quality of the floats was amazing and you all helped make such a successful parade and enjoyable start to the Christmas season.
That Santa parade is a great opportunity for any business, school, community group, or family to get together and have some fun and promote yourself. Watch this page for information about the 2013 Santa Parade and online entries.
We hope to see you all this year for another edition of this fantastic community event!
